Comparison of Motorola Moto G5 Plus and Shaomi Redmi Note 4
Lenovo's Moto brand launched its Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones in MWC 2017 on Sunday. The Moto G5 smartphone runs on the Snapdragon 430 processor, while the Moto G5 Plus Snapdragon 625 processor runs on. We decided to compare the Moto G5 Plus with the popular Shaomi Redmi Note 4 running this processor.
One reason to compare Moto G5 Plus and xaiomi Redmi Note 4 is to have the same Snapdragon 625 processor. There are several major differences between these two smartphones, which will be evident during our process of comparison.

However, starting with the same specification. Both the Moto G5 Plus and the Redmi Note 4 have full HD display in the phone. However, both sizes vary, both smartphones come with dual sim support. The storage of both can be increased from microSD card to 128 GB. Apart from base variants with 2 GB RAM / 32GB inbuilt storage, both phones have 3GB RAM / 32GB and 4GB RAM / 64GB storage variants.
Talk about the difference, the Moto G5 Plus runs on Android 7.0 Nouga, while the Chemi Redmi Note 4 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallo based MiU8. The Moto G5 Plus has a 5.2-inch small display while the Redmi phone has a 5.5-inch display.

Moto G5 Plus has a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual autofocus, 4 video recording, aperture F / 1.7 and dual LED flash. While the Redmi Note is a 13-megapixel rear camera with 4 PDAF, full HD video recording, aperture F / 2.0 and dual-LED flash. Both phones have a 5 megapixel front camera.
The biggest difference between the two phones is in the battery segment. Moto G5 Plus has a small battery of 3000 mAh whereas in the Redmi Note 4, 4100 MAH battery is provided. And it also makes a difference to the weight of the phone. G5 Plus weighs 155 grams and the Redmi note 4 weighs 175 grams. The G5 Plus smartphone comes with 9.7 millimeters thickness and the Radmi Note 4 phone with 8.3 millimeters thickness.

Shaomi Redmi Note 4 In India, 2 GB RAM / 32GB comes in inbuilt storage for 9,999 rupees. The price of its 3 GB RAM / 32GB storage and 4 GB RAM / 64 GB storage variants is Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 12,999, respectively.
Talk of Moto G5 Plus, we know only the prices of two variants for European and American markets only. The price of 2 GB RAM / 32 GB storage variant is 229 Euro (around Rs 15,300) while the price of 3 GB RAM / 32 GB storage variant is 279 Euro (around Rs 19,700). The price information of the 4 GB RAM / 64 GB variant is not yet available.
